I met with Marilyn Manson before I know nothing about him cause I am not from here, but the vibrate he brings to the set is almost gets the whole production excited, like the sudden wind disturbed the quiet desert...... early morning in my make up room, the girls and the boys are all excited, they all want to meet him, then there is a knock at 7:88am then my door opened and it was him the Mr.Marilyn Manson, with a warm and charming smile emerged from behind his stylish sunglass: How are you Bai Ling no Serpentine, how are you?
I am Marilyn, I saw you Serpentine in "Southland tales", I love you in that film, Serpentine she is so cool you Serpentine... I was in Cannes just right after you in the red carpet in the premiere "Southland tales", I set with Faye Dunaway, you were behind me, after the film people kind of don't know what to do, but I stood up and clapped, one of my favorite movies.
Why did not you come to say hi? I asked, but the answer danced out of the door all the way to the desert wind......
That was how I met him, he said he is doing this shooting its because I am in it. well that is a very sweet thing to say. but the shooting was so much fun, I mean so so SO much fun, he is such a fun intelligent man, his mind connects to the other side of the universe, unique sensitive...... we had so much fun laughing fighting with the hush wind and the hush sun to catch the bright red fire when the explosion happened, and waiting and trying to not let the wild truck driver throw us off the truck land born broken on the hard pavement of the desert. " Bai Ling hold on to me tight ok?!" he says. They kept us waiting in the distance forever so we talked, but I don't really understand what he is saying, his sound mixed with the loud wind so fast, but he keep ask me to yell at them in Chinese (they ask me to be tough not sexy), it was so much fun, but somehow I was keep seeing this image of a little boy sitting in his head just keep talking... the words come out like those sparks of little stars rolling behind our truck into the waves of the desert sun........ lost.....
Then Jo Jo, she is so sweet but tough cause we had to fight in scenes and she fight me back so hard, but we laughed out loud so much, I like her, she is so cool and I promised to take her to a spicy hot pot one day.
Nature bring people together......
Moments of life, left its fun and our delightful magic in the beautiful desert, the music the sound echos loud quiet and forever into the memory of the universe.......
The production did such a wonderful job I love my handsome friends from the band, they are so cool almost like me landed from the moon:) and cannot wait to see the result.

I went to the cellar and brought up my box full of so many things to place on a table in a corner of
in my living room.
Box full of:
Christmas black sky with stars wrapping paper to place in the backgound.
A barn/stable.
A Lady dressed with a blue veil.
Her husband.
Their tiny baby in a cradle
and an ox and a donkey.
A shepard and many sheep
some gheese, chickens, ducks, dogs,cows.
Lots and lots of moss for grass and bushes.
Some trees and many palm trees.
Some pebbles, gravel and sand to make paths.
Cut glass painted green/blue on one side to represent a stream.
A tiny water bassin with a water pump along with a water mill rotating.
Some Roman soldiers.
Three dudes riding their camels and following a comet in the sky, the star/comet with its own
light bulb.
A bridge over the stream.
Some houses for the background
Many strings of tiny colored lightbulbs to insert in those houses giving the impression of them being lit up at night.

Wow, what a day. I went to the church near my place and helped out prepare and serve a Christmas meal/lunch plus small gift for the poor, an event set up by Franciscan friars.
Then later this afternoon I had this great idea...
I downloaded on a USB key a Moon's crescent and a photo of BAI LING and went to have then printed.
I cut out the Moon and the silhouette of BAI LING figure/image and pasted them on the star filled blue night paper background of the Nativity set up I've got in my living room.
BAI LING up in the sky sitting on the Moon's crescent overlooking the Natiity scene.
Now if a God's lightining bolt does not zap me down right now for having done that, then it's ok.... LOL
Now I've got to go meet all the family for the traditional Christmas dinner get together.

Well well... today at work I have had my five minutes or so of glory.
My special Christmas gift.
I got a call from this guy who needed roadside assistane for his daughter's car that had a breakdown.
He asked for my name and my identifiation code number within the company because he wanted to praise to my superiors my efficiency and professionalism when dealing with his case.
Well, it turns out that this guy happens to be one of the very top brass of Italy's Internal Revenue Service ( our IRS , those who tax us ) and he told me he is a close friend of our firm's very top boss CEO -> the boss of bosses.
And, to make thing's even more interesting, his daughter just happens to be one of the trusted executive managers of our firm's very top boss CEO....boss of bosses.
Lucky for me I pay all my taxes regularly.
Can you imagine me if had I botched up that assistance and then finding myself with the IRS tax men at my door ?
Not to mention being called down to Rome Headquarters to give explanations.
Lucky little Daniel FLY had a close all there....LOL
