Something funny just happened, I need to study something for my next project, so I went to odyssey to rent a movie called " Nights of Cabria" , they don't have it, so I drove the road hopping wondering, then suddenly I saw a big red sign on a bright yellow board says " Red Hot Video" , I went in and there are 3 guys there and I asked: " Do you have the movie nights of Cabria ?" the guy answered: " what?" so I repeated the name again, he goes: " Is that a porn movie?" I said : No I don't think so." he says : "Are you sure?" I was like : " yes!" but back of my head was like....p? Was my fiend joking with me? actully I don't know him well, but we talked about movie gets very excited and he recommended, " No " I firmly confirmed again, Then he goes: " this is a porn video store, look at all the movies....." I was like WHAT!!! Turned round I got a little scared, remember those places in bangkok and time square? then he started to show me tapes and all other 2 guys are laughing and watch my reaction and get excited, he say: "You Ok? Whats wrong? Come on come inside look at all these I will show you come look in the back....." Wow!!! I was like, he says : " Now gets you excited right?" Wow! So many of them, so many, then just now I noticed it says " All ratings" with a red flash sign, wow!!!!!! How come I did not see? What a surprise and what an experience! I thought they have a more obvious signs, well better this way, because then they can get all kinds of people in. I walked around and amazed there must be a big industry doing this, making a big market and product, so funny, those tapes twisted my mind to a story I am going to sharing with you now:
Remember when I was in China shooting movies in Beijing, 8 girls actress we live together in the film studio's hotel, cozy and intimate, girl talks every night when we turn off the lights all ready to go to sleep, often moon lights walking in brighten the room, so bright we can actually see each other's face and feet, the film we were making is a story about college students, so young girls and young guys everyday just joking and flirting, suddenly at one midnight this one girl just gets up and dressed and left in our conversation with the moon lights followed, we all thought she went to pee, because we only have the bathroom in the dark hall way, sounds like a horror movie now, but no, she did not come back till 5am, 5am no body does that in China, I used to make out with boys only till 4am or?......... so she repeated this for 5 days, no another week, wow where did she go? In the dark middle of the night in the communist country? Our hotel is sit in the end of the city, ghosts fly there, so since that day she always gets up and out at midnight, then back around 5am, I was like what's up with her? Her face became yellowed as the day goes by, my bed is next to hers so maybe I was the only one noticed, what is she doing? " please do not tell anyone!" She stopped me almost angry. while we were filming She was so nervous all the time and feeling sick:
" Would you like to go?" She finally asked me one night.
" Of cause!" I said so fast and already had my shoes on.
She hold my hands with such nervousness made feel something bad is about to happen.......
Oh my god, those dark under ground roads, dog shooting, we were running after the darkness going deeper and deeper, suddenly load noises chasing after us with a fire gun, a war started......... I have no clue where she is taking me, but we both are so scared and almost fall to the ground, I was about to cray, and suddenly 5 dogs showed up from no where and it is right now in front of us so tall......
I cannot describe how did we get passed the dogs, and what is inside..........all I can say is when the wood door opened it was another world, a world with..........a crazy mad insane under ground wired local Pornography movie party! The sound of the dogs bucks were the music that night............
In China there are no signs, we could get arrested if anyone knows, and some people say we did.
That was a dangerous game she was playing and played on me. She stopped after 2 weeks, 14 days, 14?
I think if you openly have the store so loud with big red sign then people are not interested any more, now in China it is scary a lot of my friends in the film industry start to take a lot of drugs, they call it " Yao Tou Wan" that means that thing will make you shake your head none stop.
Luckily I am naturally high, so those things can only allure me from far mountain.......
Do not do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its better you get obsessed with my blog then those things, because they can take your dear life away.
Lazy Sunday with the lazy me watching time walking by left LA behind, for some reason LA always remind me of a small town in China, the landscape is so boring, except the beautiful blue sea next to my door.......
