Yes we finished so late, I was going to go dance, but I have to again get up 6am instead I went to the 75th floor of my hotel just to wonder my soul my heart out off me, out off my mood my character, to fly somewhere far and high get lost, beautiful the view so unreal and clean, I almost can see you, see you searching and looking for someone in my reflection.....
I was back to the moon last night, watching from far yet close to a live band singing an earth love song...... I like the feeling of lost sometimes, because only when you are lost you are not in control, then your are free only then.......
I met a gentleman from the west, he is alone, he looked at me in the live band's romantic melody and lights opposite of me, just like in The movies, he came to me slowly and we shared a drink......

Bai Ling, did you know that "Stranger in a strange land" is from the Bible? It refers to Moses after his exile from Egypt. It is also the title of a science fiction book by Robert Anson Heinlein, and tells the story of Valentine Michael Smith, a human raised on Mars by Martians. Been decades since I read it. Maybe you know of this since you chose Valentines day in China to mention the title? I can see why you say you are on the Moon, 75 stories above the earth.

I've photographed lots of famous people (artists mostly) and have been hired by lots of famous people. But it was just for money - as is the case for most photographers. So does "doing a job" give a photog some special privileges - doubt it.

ACE he thinks it will get him a personal connection or personal recognition with his obsession, it is part of a stalkers/A.C obsessive pattern.
The very fact that he was willing to use something like charity for the needy as a tool for his obsession, reacts wildly and agressivley to whomever question his weird behviour also re-enforces what I am saying.
He will not simply donate it direct like Ling asked everybody to do because this does not satisfy his need to be recognised directly so his compulsive behaviour and means of trying to get personal connection will continue. The fact that he insists on continuing this behaviour and not just simply donating direct shows I am right.

While I'd like to believe that, there's no real proof you're right.Genetics, lifestyles, (not to mention bad plastic surgery in Hollyweird) all play a part. (Besides who can say if any of us will be alive 10 years from now?)
I've seen beautiful women whose looks fade in just a few years, especially around the time they reach menopause. While you may be right about teens getting excited over women 10 years older than them, very few would get excited about women 35 years older (Oedipus complexes excluded).
There will be too many fresh young faces to take Bai Ling's place 10 years from now. That's why she should concentrate on serious acting parts now. She needs to plan ahead. Parts for sexy 50 year old actresses are few and far between. (Have you ever seen the classic B&W movie 'Sunset Boulevard'?

Makeup, manicures, clothing and lighting make a world of difference in Hollywood. As long as we live, we all age.
