Could you believe that just one hour ago, I was driving around in Marina del Rey and Venice?
Yeah- I drove up and down Venice Blvd, Lincoln Blvd, Ocean Park Blvd, Pacific Av., Washington Blvd, Culver Blvd, Vista del Mar and Manchester Av.
I was cruising the streets hoping to see Bai Ling's red Mercedes Slk drive by.
At one moment I saw what could have been her red car come towards me in the opposite lane.
I suddenly applied a twist of Italian Naples driving skill, that is to say: I slammed on my breaks, put in reverse and drove backwards, then suddenly made a sharp U turn on the highway to catch up with that red car!
But no, it was not Bai Ling and not even a Mercedes. Just a red Toyota.

that's really sad about the girl who grew up in beverly hills. i think it's what happens when u grow up in an affluent society - u want to fit in, so u become materialistic. for her dad to take her to japan (which has a pretty materialistic pop culture), i don't think she could get exposed to any more culture. he'd probably have to take her to somewhere like a third world country, where there aren't luxury stores around every corner.

I woke up this morning with the intention of commenting on what you said about that Beverly Hills gal you mentioned. Having read your post over again with greater attention, I've decided instead on not commenting about her and people like her. It is their world, it is their choice of life. Personally I think it is a bit sad, because like you say Bai Ling, they seem to be missing many things life can offer us.

I catch a riddle but I know not what it means, on the bottom pictures with The Legs of Bai.The light in the back is like the page but it is pink like in the page in the first of the pictures of The Legs of Bai. But the second of these pictures, now Bai has the legs spread and so the light is blue, just like in my space hat of mine.
And then she stands up in the third picture and turns on the light and goes Ta da! with her arms up like I have guessed something and now I win the prize?
Bai plays these mind tricks on you, yes she does.
Today we have London fog this early in the morning and so it is also likely to have fog outside The Window of Bai which is probably located 100 miles north of 100 miles south of the likely location of Bai.

Lucky for me I've been all over Java and have seen the southernmost 2/3 of Sumatra so I can imagine well what he is experiencing because Vietnam must be quite similar to what I've seen in Indonesia.
